In this session we will briefly summarize recent revisions in the medical guidelines for diagnosing and treating asthma. As expected, these guidelines rely almost entirely on drug interventions. We will discuss what chiropractors need to know about these drugs, and how to work with the patient and medical doctor to monitor and maximize patient response to care. Exciting new concepts and methods of preventing and treating asthma and allergies will be presented, and we will discuss practical ways to improve your practice through better care of patients who have these increasingly common disorders.
